The School of Engineering is seeking a manufacturing engineer with the ability to teach modern manufacturing methods. Candidates with the ability to research, develop and teach innovation within the manufacturing process are particularly welcome to apply (e.g. robotics, machine learning and artificial intelligence).
Applicants must possess a BEng or Meng in Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent in similar subject) and a PhD in a subject related to advanced manufacturing, manufacturing engineering (or similar topics). Research experience or Industrial experience of advanced manufacturing or related industry 4.0 technology is required.
Applicants need to meet all essential criteria on the person specification to be considered for interview. This position is based in Preston. The majority of the work will be at the Preston campus but travel on behalf of the university is expected, including teaching at the Burnley campus.
