The successful applicant will have experience of working on research projects and experience of quantitative and qualitative research methods. Excellent laboratory skills and evidence of ability to develop and optimise assays independently is essential to the role as well of evidence of significant dissemination of research outputs.
The post holder will have a PhD in a relevant area and a Good First Degree in Nutrition, Public Health Nutrition, Biochemistry or another relevant Science discipline.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be methodical and well organised and demonstrated knowledge of COSHH and Risk Assessment procedures for laboratory work.
